How to Filter, Search, and Sort Data
IENT is a powerful tool that offers several capabilities to sift through records across the platform. In this section, you can get familiarized with the different view actions available to you based on the type of records you are viewing.
Filter
To filter out all the records displayed, click on the filter iconHow to Filter, Search, and Sort Data on the top right corner of the page.
Basic Filter: You can then select one or many of the filter parameters for the available data points and click on Submit to apply the filters.

Advanced Filter: Selecting Advanced Filter offers you a filtration mechanism that can use more complex operators to filter out displayed records. For advanced filtration:
Click on the filter iconHow to Filter, Search, and Sort Data> Advanced Filter > Edit.
This will open a modal with editable filter fields and operators.
For example, you can use different labels, operators, and filter values like below.

Click on Submit.
Based on your filters, an advanced filter criterion is generated.

Filter Management
By default, all the records of your selected context are displayed. Click on the All dropdown, and select a preset filter to apply to the records.

You can also Save or Save As all the filter queries that you have currently applied to the records displayed.
Whenever you make any changes in an existing filter, an asterisk (*) suffix will appear near the filter name.
You can also manage all your filters by clicking on the Manage optionHow to Filter, Search, and Sort Data from the dropdown. This will allow you to RenameHow to Filter, Search, and Sort Data, RemoveHow to Filter, Search, and Sort Data, and SortHow to Filter, Search, and Sort Data your saved filters.

Click on the clear buttonHow to Filter, Search, and Sort Data to clear any filters that you have applied.
Columns
You can further filter all your records based on the columns displayed. Click on the column iconHow to Filter, Search, and Sort Data and check/uncheck the columns to display details as you require.

Click on the Reorder columns button to rearrange the order in which columns are displayed.

Use the arrowsHow to Filter, Search, and Sort Data to move the columns around as needed.
Search
You can search the entire list by entering a keyword in the Search field and selecting the available records from the dropdown. This is the local search and presents data from the application or module being used.


Sort
You can click on the arrowsHow to Filter, Search, and Sort Data next to each column to sort the list of displayed records.
