Role Management
A role defines the functions of a user within the IENT Application. Each role has a unique name and set of associated permissions that specify what users who are assigned to the role can see and do on the IENT platform. A role can be assigned to any number of users.
Your role in the system is defined as the Org Admin (Buyer Administrator) by the Super Admin. As the Org Admin, you can define new roles with a specific set of user permissions that determine what the assigned users can see or do in the system.
When a new tenant is created, a few default roles are created which cannot be deleted. These include: Org Admin, Partner User, Org User, Partner Admin, Impersonate User, Bulletin Manager, Partner Quality Manager, and Bulletin Approver.
Note: The org admin users cannot delete the default org admin role created during tenant creation.
The following five roles have been renamed in IENT release version 23.03.
From | To |
Buyer Admin | Org Admin |
Supplier User | Partner User |
Buyer User | Org User |
Supplier Admin | Partner Admin |
Supplier Quality Manager | Partner Quality Manager |
