Global Search

On the tool bar, you will be able to see a search box. It is the global search tool which is present on all the screens in the IENT application. It allows you to perform a search globally and data is displayed from all the IENT applications (except URL apps) and modules that user has access to.  The search will display the records or data for which the user performing the search is authorized to view/access.

On clicking the search box, the last five searched terms (if any previous search was performed) will be listed and when you start typing, the search ahead terms as per your input will be listed. On selection of any of the suggested terms, search results will be displayed.

The Org Admin (Buyer Admin) has to maintain the global search configuration for each application (transactional data) and module (master data) and accordingly the global search performs the search query.
